2019 -2020 Toyota Gazoo Racing Europe

In April 2020 Toyota Motorsport GmbH changed its name to TOYOTA GAZOO RACING EUROPE GmbH, to be now a full member of the TGR Family.

It turned out to be a great year although the Covid-19 situation ment that many races were run behind closed doors.

TGR won the 24H of Le Mans for the 3rd time in a row, so the big trophy stays forever with the team, a great achievement by all involved.

TGR also won the 2019-2020 WEC Drivers and Manufacturers title and the WRC Drivers title with Sebastian Ogier.

TGR had great success with the new GR Supra GT4 that scored many podiums and a championship win in its 1st year of competition.

It also was a farewell to the mighty Toyota TS050 WEC car that was on the highest level of technology and now we are all looking forward to its replacement the Toyota Hypercar that will be launched in January 2021.
